Central Alberta Advocacy Network

We are self-advocates, adults with developmental disabilities, from across Central Region of Alberta who get together to practise leadership skills and have our voices heard. Learn about Self-Advocacy! Share Experiences! Meet new people! Feel good about yourself! If you want to have fun, meet other self-advocates and become a leader in your community, join CAAN. Together we CAAN!

Leadership and Advisory Council - Red Deer

The Leadership and Advisory Council's purpose is to help build the best quality of life for people with disabilities.
We do this by giving individuals
  • The help and support they need
  • Opportunities to learn and/or do something new
When we do these two things
  • Individuals build confidence
  • Individuals understand and believe that we all have something valuable to give or do as a contributing citizen within our communities

We meet every Tuesday from 3:00pm-5:30pm. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are meeting on Zoom on Tuesdays between 1:00pm-2:30pm. If you would like to join our Zoom meeting please send us an e-mail to get the code!

Our phone number is: (403) 342-4450 Ext. 111
